Unwinding Technique

Unwinding is a therapeutic technique that uses gentle stretching, and energy work to facilitate the release of stuck material in the body.

Internalized trauma can be unwound out of the body.

The body tightens itself around contractions, fight or flight responses, shock, trauma, or any negative experience. Unwinding is simply the ability to relax the body, touch certain points in particular movements, and bring the body back to its original alignment. Unwinding is one of the few technologies that can release pre-verbal material (under 2 years old) from the body.

In its original alignment the body can more powerfully use its own healing abilities on both a psychological/emotional and physical level.

$80 Unwinding Session 1 Hr

Deep Aromatherapy and Body Healing

During this amazingly relaxing session, a customized combination of oils are applied to the back - dropped like raindrops - and lightly massaged onto the back. These wonderful oils are allowed to soak in with hot towel over the back. The deeply relaxing session is completed with Unwinding.

Kristine combines these techniques in a powerful and unforgettable session - the oils antioxidant and purifying properties clear and support the nervous system creating a detoxification in places where stuck memories are stored. They body feels invigorated and then goes into a deep relaxation. Because this relaxation is intense we only offer this therapy in the evenings :) after work. We recommend lots of water and good nights sleep afterwards.

Rolfing Therapy

Rolfing is a method of soft tissue manipulation and movement education that has been around since the 1940s and was originally called Structural Integration. Rolfing attempts to do two things: improve how the body works in gravity and ease chronic physical and emotional strains in a systematic and deliberate manner.

Craniosacral Biodynamic Work

The purpose of craniosacral therapy is to locate and treat strain patterns in the sutures or meeting points of the bones in the skull as well as disturbances of the flow of fluid through the spinal cord. This fluid called Cerebrospinal Fluid (or CSF, for short) lubricates and buffers the brain and is a cleansing system for the tissues and cells of the central nervous system. More info...

Bio-Cleanse (Foot Bath)
Detoxification through the feet.

Biocleanse is an innovative yet gentle technique for releasing toxins (heavy metals, mucus, lactic acid, candida, etc.) from the body. As you relax with your feet soaking, the water is charged with a small amount of energy and oxygen. This charge creates a magnetic field, which runs through the body and charges the cells with energy. The added energy helps the cells release the toxic material, and once released from the cells, the particles are pulled out of the body through osmosis. Throughout the footbath, you will notice that the originally clear water changes color and texture as the toxins are released.

Benefits of Biocleanse:

• Increases Vitality (life force energies- Chi)
• Balances your pH
• Helps relieve Arthritis and fibromyalgia

Yoga Classes and Private Yoga Lessons

Yoga - a balanced practice of asana (postures) and pranayama (breath control) designed for beginners and suitable for those with more experience. Our asana practice will be a combination of Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga styles. Our focus will be on breath and body awareness - feeling into those places that would like more of our attention and cultivating a sense of ease in our bodies. Our intention is to observe ourselves in a loving space. All body states, ages and abilities are welcome to come and explore the gifts a yoga practice can bring to you.

Please bring a yoga (sticky) mat and come dressed in comfortable clothing.

The instructor for this course is Leila Nawaz [RYT, Registered Yoga Teacher]. Leila teaches a style of yoga where she strives to open the space for students to learn how to witness and love themselves more as they move through a practice that is suitable to them.

She studied Inspya Yoga in Byron Bay, Australia; Inspya yoga practice is a dynamic blend of balance, strength, flexibility and endurance. It uses a synergy of Vinyasa (breath-synchronized movement) and Iyengar (B.K.S. Iyengar) styles of yoga.

She shares Krishnamacharya's teaching that "Yoga is creation. It is the practice of observing oneself without judgment. Anybody can breathe; therefore anybody can practice yoga."

Transformational Breathwork

Breathwork provides a vehicle for a journey to the inner-self. Our transformational breathwork is a holographic breath exercise incorporating music (frequency) designed to penetrate the body, and guided breathing into the heart connecting the body, spirit and mind/experiences.

Our intention is that clients have a deeply profound internal experience, integrate their current transformational process, and safely explore the unconscious and experiences stored cellularly in the body.

Breathwork commonly allows for profound release, integration and understanding in the student. Breathwork is an excellent compliment to transformational work at the Center, especially counseling and BioTuning.
